SERVICE : INSPECTION
– INDOOR PLAYSPACES
AND PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT

ALPHA-OMÉGA INTERNATIONAL,
performs the Inspection
of INDOOR Playspaces and Playground Equipment, namely
in the following range of
disciplines (but not limited to) :

Canadian Standard(s)
are not available
to evaluate the performance and the safe use of sporting and
athletic equipment. Certification
programmes are not available either for this type of
equipment, to allow manufacturers to standardize their safe
construction.

However, ALPHA-OMÉGA
INTERNATIONAL is making
good use of its knowledge of the applicable International
Standards related to each of these disciplines, as
a base for the evaluation of the safe
use of sporting and athletic equipment and the environment
in which they are used. The inspection
is enhanced by the use of
a strong common sense and a pertinent
experience by its personnel
in the field of certification and testing.

In fact, the President, Mr.
Jean-Marc Beaudet, Eng., has 17
years of experience
as Senior Engineer
at CSA International
in the inspection, certification
and testing of a wide range of products, in addition
to CSA Standards Development
and Quality
Audits.

A personalized Voluntary
Inspection Program (Usually on a 2 to 3 years period)
is offered to Schools, Municipalities
and other similar organizations, to help with Risk
Assessment and the Risk
Management related to the practice of these disciplines
with the objective of increasing
Safety and reducing
accidents and fatal injuries, while maintaining the
FUN in playing.
SERVICE
: INSPECTION – OUTDOOR
PLAYSPACES AND PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT
- ALPHA-OMÉGA
INTERNATIONAL, is a LEADER in the inspection of OUTDOOR
Playground Equipment and Playspaces, in compliance with
the applicable National Standard
CAN/CSA-Z614-03/07
(Children’s Playspaces and Equipment); according
to the mandatory program
implemented, on June 1 2004 by the ‘MFACF’
(Ministère de la Famille, des Ainés et de la Condition
Féminine) (formerly the ‘MESSF’ – Ministère
de l’Emploi, de la Solidarité Sociale et de la Famille),
for all daycare facilities in Québec (Private and Public
(CPE)), for children 18 months
to 5 years of age.
- A personalized
Voluntary Inspection Program (Usually on a 2 to 3 years
period) is offered to Schools,
Municipalities and other similar organizations, for children
18 months to 12 years
of age, in accordance with the CAN/CSA-Z614.03/07
(Children’s Playspaces and Equipment) applicable National
Standard.
- A Voluntary
Inspection Program is also available for the Outdoor
Sporting Equipments, in accordance with recognized
Standards.
- ALPHA-OMÉGA
INTERNATIONAL owns a specialized instrument, the TRIAX
2000 to perform the impact
tests from a fall height, as required by the CAN/CSA-Z614.03/07
(Children’s Playspaces and Equipment) applicable National
Standard. The proper training was provided by the original
manufacturer.
- Being most
competent is not synonymous with being more stringent. It
means that an examination is made
more efficiently and with more certainty within the scope of the
CAN/CSA-Z614-03/07 Standard.
Consequently you get more for
your money.
- ALPHA-OMÉGA
INTERNATIONAL can also help you find
simple, original and yet economical solutions, to convert some
obsolete and/or noncompliant existing playground equipment to
meet the requirements of the applicable Standard. This
process allows the owner or the operator of a daycare facility,
take a sound decision between buying a new playground equipment
or get the existing one repaired.
